A stylish, action-packed thriller about two friends who chase girls, enjoy fast cars and getting into a scarp. Vova and his best friend Kisa do odd jobs for the local mafia in Vladivostok in order to make ends meet. However, one job brings their thrill ride to an end as it forces them to question their morality and their friendship. Based on a true story, this is a cool and edgy film that resonates with Fight Club and its intense examination of hyper masculinity and the milieu of mixed martial arts that pushes the young and overly confident to the very edge. Filmed in the atmospheric port city of Vladivostok, this is a gripping debut feature by Olga Zueva and stars Russia’s hottest actor, Danila Kozlovsky.
