Back by popular demand, N.R. Trio's last Melbourne performance as part of their national tour! Returning to play with them is the fantastic singer Merinda Dias-Jayasinha! Definitely going to be a show worth seeing.

Lead by bassist Nick Rignanese, ‘N.R. Trio’ explores the concept of spontaneous re-harmonisation, expanding classic jazz swingers and modern compositions alike into something unique. Featuring the expertise of Oscar Sarre on piano, the smooth feel of Caelum Chester on the kit and the stable foundation and leadership provide by the band’s namesake, Nick Rignanese. Drawing inspiration from great jazz piano trios ranging from Bill Evans trio, to Robert Glasper trio to Ray Brown trio, the band prides itself for its diverse variety of sounds and styles. The tunes they play are a vehicle for their creativity and each show is sure to be unique, exclusive and highly enjoyable, so come be a part of something rare!
