A Night at the Movies: The Music of La La Land
The Little Bourke "Big" Band brings movie magic to life with their take on the music of La La Land (2016).
This dynamic 9-piece ensemble invites you to join them on a cinematic journey, reimagining Justin Hurwitz’s Oscar-winning score through their own ‘mini big-band’ arrangements which have been tailored for an intimate jazz club setting. With lush horn textures, infectious rhythms, and vocals from Rhea John, you'll feel as though you've stepped straight into a scene of the film itself.
For one night only, experience the atmosphere, romance, and sound of La La Land in a live setting — it’s the perfect evening for lovers of jazz, film, or both!
