The Story

Jazz vocalist, Julie O'Hara is one of Australia's most versatile composers and performers. 

Tonight she presents a set of new works inspired by bebop, Afrocuban rhythms, neosoul and vocalese, with modern day lyricism, gravitating to themes of hope, love and a celebration of the human spirit through music. Vocal improvisation is essential to her arrangements, as O'Hara continues to explore how to use the voice instrumentally within her superb ensemble. Always a genuine jazz experience.
