The Story

‘Long since dubbed the Irish Studio Ghibli, Cartoon Saloon’s latest may just be their own My Neighbor Totoro — an elemental, gentle, and incredibly cute animated adventure for all the family.’ — Empire Magazine

The new film from the acclaimed Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon (Wolfwalkers, My Father's Dragon) is a wondrous and joyful celebration of nature, narrated by Chris O'Dowd.

Young puffin Oona, along with her baby brother Baba, May the rabbit, and Mossy the pygmy shrew are just some of the residents of Puffin Rock who are excited to welcome new arrivals to their small island colony. But when the last Little Egg of the season disappears under mysterious circumstances, Oona and her new friends race against time to bring the Little Egg home before a big storm hits Puffin Rock and puts the entire island in danger. It's an action-packed story which celebrates our magnificent natural environment, and features themes of belonging, courage and friendship.
