Carl Pannuzzo has become an iconic vocalist/drummer and sometime guitarist leading his band Chequerboard Lounge, regarded as one of Melbourne’s top Blues bands. The bands recently released LP features Bob as their special guest. Bob also recorded for Carl in the eighties and returned the compliment by featuring Carls blues Smile on his CD Deepest Green. Bob and Carl are very steeped in black blues and soul music and have recently performed Kerri Simpson in a long running show called Collaborations.

The rhythm section will consist of bassist Jon Chidgey who has performed with a plethora of Australia’s top jazz musicians in Bob’s Stonnington Gardens Showband, and we are fortunate enough to have Sam Young on drums who has played with bob regularly in the band BLOW located at The Horn.

Look forward to a night of Jazz, Soul and Blues Standards as well as some originals.
