Individually, they have recorded on many albums. “... Alexander Nettelbeck, a virtuoso jazz pianist of impeccable sensitivity and style, has assembled a supergroup of talent: Conrad Henderson’s superb bass is delicately deadly dancing in interplay with Andy Horneman’s drums which ring in a finely tuned tapestry of rhythmic sounds enhancing the amazing saxophone(s) of Luke Carbon, who plays as sweet and smooth as Tom Scott or as dirty and death-defying as Rahsaan Roland Kirk. The four men’s talents mesh together like the elements water, earth, lightning and air making life and love through music. Hyperbole? Hear them for yourself. I will not eat my words. Richard Garth, Melbourne-based musician and writer.
