The Story

Set deep in a remote marshland, THE MARSHES follows Dr Pria Anan (Dafna Kronental), a deeply committed university researcher negotiating a high-pressure work environment while fighting to save her beloved marshland ecosystem. But time is not on her side. The future of her research and the marshland depend on her last field trip, accompanying her is friend and rival Ben (Mathew Cooper) and assistant Will (Sam Delich). At first Pria is certain she has control of the world around her however in an environment where her fears begin to overwhelm her tensions mount and control becomes elusive. Doggedly she continues until fear becomes manifest in the form of a horrifying evil and she must abandon science and focus on survival.
