Hear Mitski’s upcoming album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We a week before its release with a screening of Days of Heaven

In support of Mitski‘s new album out September 15th on Dead Oceans, she has curated The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We Music & Film Double Features taking place at select movie theatres across the US, Australia and London all on Thursday, September 7.

Each Music & Film Double Feature includes an early listen to the entirety of Mitski’s new album followed by a film screening, selected by Mitski for the occasion. The album will be played in total darkness with the intention to offer an intimate place where fans can immerse themselves in the album without self-consciousness, while also feeling a sense of community.

We are pleased to present Days of Heaven (dir. Terrence Malick, 1978). Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance to attend. All tickets include a limited edition poster created exclusively for the series, which will be handed out at the event.

Please arrive no earlier than 6:30pm as queueing is not permissible before this time. Note: Mitski will not be in attendance at this event.
