The Story

The Jump Cats are a Melbourne based four-piece swingin’ jump blues band with Mark 'Harpo' Greenway on guitar, Jeff Walters on double bass, Alf Mott on drums and Chris 'Stibbo' Hanger blues harp and vocals. The Jump Cats are unique because they perform to blues, swing and rock and roll audiences both far and wide and have performed nearly 300 shows in four years together playing a style of blues that kicked off in the 1940s and was a precursor to rhythm and blues and rock and roll. With the release of their new album, ‘Too Many Drivers at the Wheel’, The Jump Cats are being played on radio all over the state as well as Queensland and streaming radio from the United States. Their infectious uptempo rhythm has everyone up on their feet so get along and see for yourself. You won’t regret it.
