SAFF: The Honeymoon

In this action-packed romcom, three old friends go to Zanzibar to sort out their personal lives; they come back with valuable insights.

When Katia (Kitty), a talented fashion designer’s fiancé casually dumps her on the eve of their wedding, a new world of adventure and emotional insight opens for her. She and her two unlikely friends, Lu (married with two children) and the extravagant, larger-than-life Noks, agree to go ahead with the planned honeymoon to the exotic destination of Zanzibar. Each of our three heroines has her own agenda: Katya to regroup emotionally, Lu to escape her pleasant but suffocating home life and Noks to drum up more followers to her social media presence through evermore outrageous behaviour. This comedy of contemporary manners is both irreverent and uplifting as all three protagonists, after a particularly bumpy ride, find their own redemption.
