Stop The Unstoppable

With only hours until D-Day, a team of American paratroopers drop into Nazi-occupied France to carry out a crucial mission. Tasked with destroying a radio transmitter atop a fortified church, the desperate soldiers join forces with a young French villager to get in, disrupt communication, and get out. But this isn’t a war story you’re likely to hear at the local RSL. This is pulp splatter on steroids, which embraces the lunacy and leaves other WWII horror films trailing in its dust. Australian director Julius Avery (SON OF A GUN) cranks the intensity up to 11 in this alternate-history horror film that never hits the brakes. With a script by Billy Ray (THE HUNGER GAMES, CAPTAIN PHILLIPS, VOLCANO) and Mark L. Smith (THE REVENANT, VACANCY), and produced by J.J. Abrams (THE FORCE AWAKENS, STAR TREK), OVERLORD promises to be the popcorn horror film of the year.
