MIJF: Paul Williamson Hammond Combo

The Story

Saxophonist Paul Williamson is a legend on the Melbourne and Australian music scene. 

His Hammond Combo has held a residency at Fitzroy's Rainbow hotel for more than 20 years, as well as performing at Bennetts Lane, 303 and Uptown jazz cafe numerable times. Having performed at Monsalvat, Wangaratta, Castlemaine, Manly, Noumea, York, Appolo Bay and Queenscliff jazz festivals, Southside is very proud to have Paul leading a swinging quartet to close out this year's Melbourne International Jazz Festival, playing cooking jazz standards and bluesy R&B numbers that are bound to tear the house down.
