MIJF: James Sherlock Quartet

The Story

James Sherlock began playing classical guitar at just seven years old.

He has gone on to win the Ike Issacs International Jazz Guitar Award, released six albums as a band leader and appeared on recordings for many other artists.

Ian Patterson of All About Jazz says:

“Sherlock is a wonderful guitarist, and a craftsman of songs possessing beauty and depth. Solo should make a few Top 10s of the year and help propel Sherlock onto the bigger stage he surely deserves. Definitely a name to watch out for.”
