Set in the heart of Hassidic Jerusalem, this comedic, modern-day caper starring Shuli Rand follows a disgraced badhan (a traditional Jewish wedding emcee) as he fights to reclaim his former glory.

Moishe's only daughter has finally found a suitor, and Moishe, once the most sought-after wedding-entertainer of Jerusalem's Hasidic enclave, can't afford the wedding. A gifted singer and comedian who has since succumbed to drink, Moishe can barely feed his family, let alone raise the $20,000 needed to marry off the daughter who means so much to him.

When Moishe’s childhood friend Yisroel returns to the Holy Land to throw a wedding for his own son, he brings with him America’s most celebrated – and decidedly ultra-modern – badhan, sparking a clash cultures, and a reckoning with greatness that will be Moishe’s ultimate test.

This wildly entertaining comedy remains deeply rooted in tradition whilst capturing the universal joy and chaos of family wedding woes.
