JIFF: Blazing Saddles (1974)

Blazing Saddles

Voted the funniest film of all time by the American Film Institute, this satirical Western about a corrupt politician who appoints a black sheriff to run a frontier town is considered by many to be Brooks’s crown jewel. Skewering American politics and frontier myths with an unceasing assault of gags that have stood the test of time, Blazing Saddles is a laugh-a-minute classic.
