“An original first feature film full of contrasts... Adèle Exarchopoulos dazzles.” - Cineuropa

Cassandra is a 27-year-old flight attendant for a low-cost airline. Based in Lanzarote, she's always willing to take on extra hours and carries out her duties with robotic efficiency. She lives from day to day and splits up her life between flights, Tinder and dead-end parties. But eventually she’ll have to confront the feelings she is repressing and running away from.

Adèle Exarchopoulos (Blue Is the Warmest Colour) is captivating as Cassandra, portraying a person who has perfected a cool detached persona for both her professional and personal lives. Her scenes onboard the plane were shot alongside real life flight attendants delivering an authentic insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes on board a discount airline flight. It is only later in the film that we truly discover the full extent of her emotional burden, resulting in a compassionate film about human connection.
