The Story
Chicago Dime is a Melbourne based Chicago Blues band.
They say “we don’t just play the blues but the blues is in everything we play” by taking big elements of blues music with other influences to create a fresh and exciting sound.
Led by Pete Hachel (Guitar & Vocals) and JR Barling (Horns), the band’s raw energy and intensity is reminiscent of some of the best blues and improvisational music that Australia has ever offered.
Chicago Dime have the feeling that makes the blues real by involving the audience, dancing on tables, and impromptu band members.
