AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE

In one of Slovakia’s so-called ‘Hungry Valleys’, 15-year-old Eno spends his summer days drifting through boredom and everyday responsibilities. He rides mopeds with his misfit friends, teases neighbours, chases small thrills, and picks up odd jobs to earn a bit of cash. A quiet discovery unearths a painful truth, leaving Eno to reevaluate who has his best interests at heart.

Shot on film, Katarína Gramatová’s quietly compassionate feature debut unfolds through the rhythms of everyday life, capturing the beauty of rural Slovakia and the weight of unspoken emotions. Led by a cast of actors and non-actors, including the captivating Michael Zachensky in his first role, this bittersweet portrait of self-reliance is an ode to finding your own way, no matter the road.
