An evening in concert with Bridgette Allen, voice, and Bob Sedergreen, piano. As a jazz pianist, Bob’s legendary status needs no confirmation. He has performed with some of the world’s best jazz players. His empathy with Bridgette Allan stems from many years of collaboration and touring; her repertoire spans from Brubeck to Monk to Broadway show tunes.
Only Bridgette can deliver melody and lyrics in her own inimitable and hypnotic style, and we are very fortunate she has decided to fly over from Perth. On drums will be jazz drummer Mark Voogd who is a regular visitor to Southside, playing in many combos with Bob . Annete Yates on bass has performed with USA legend mickey Tucker as well as a plethora of Australian acts. Annette is a viby and propulsive bass player. These twos should prove to be a powerful rhythm section. This will be an amazing reunion and a gig not to be missed!
