To say that Chantal Mitvalsky is a stunning vocalist is an extreme understatement. Melbourne drummer, Sonja as her music teacher at school was first to recognize this. Bob Sedergreen realized this the instant she joined JAVC sessions as did all jazz musicians who subsequently worked with her in bands like Cannonball.

Chantal relocated to New York City in 2017and quickly became a regular performer in the New York music scene. Since returning home, Chantal has received rave reviews from the audience from the sell-out crowds at The Lido jazz Room as well as many other venues. Mark Voogd has dedicated his life to drumming be it educating or performing. He is a popular and well-loved drumming identity. Bassist Jon Chidgey has performed with Bob and Annemarie Sharry on numerous occasions. The emphasis in this concert will be the jazz feels created by the rhythm section and Chantal’s ability to enhance and complement their music. A night not to be missed.
