Hugely popular stand-up Ivan Aristeguieta returns to Classic!

The supremely likeable, award-winning stand-up comedian Ivan Aristeguieta has won a stack of acclaim for his energetic comedy. AKA the ‘Maracas from Caracas’, originally from Venezuela, South America, or as Aussies call him – ‘Mexican’.

Ivan's lived in Australia for 10 years now - living amongst us, observing us, learning about us, and now he makes a very good living taking the piss out of us. He's a true blue, dinky-di Venez-stralian. Nah, she’ll be right! (Who is she, by the way?).

He was awarded Best Newcomer at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2016, and was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

You'll likely recognise Ivan from his diverse TV appearances across Have You Been Paying Attention, The Project, Celebrity Name Game, Hughesy We Have a Problem and The Living Room. When he's not making audiences roar with laughter at his stand-up gigs, Ivan hosts two popular comedy cooking shows: About This Much and Pimp my Tucker, Mother Tucker.
