MIJF: Tony Gould Quartet

The Story

Four outstanding artists have formed this quartet with the intention of playing a mix of the best from the jazz repertoire, with other original works. 

All are interested in the Art of Melody, and bring many years of experience playing both in Australia and internationally. Saxophonist, Italian born Mirko Guerinni is an internationally renowned composer/performer. Gould has for decades been at the forefront of improvised music, Di Sario is a master double bassist, and Joe Batrouney brings not only his expertise and subtlety to jazz, but has in recent years developed a wonderful ability as a percussionist in the Flamenco world.
