The Story

With the release of Adam's third album The Return only months away, Adam Dunning comes to Classic Southside for a night of his classic Bossa originals, along with Adam's re-versioned trademark Bossa standards and his very own 'surf jazz'.

With his unique voice heard worldwide, Adam has written and recorded with the Bossa Nova founders in Rio de Janeiro (Joao Donato, Roberto Menescal, Carlos Lyra), and played internationally from Japan to Turkey as well as Melbourne's own International Jazz Festival.

Bringing his compositions to life with Brazilian bass from Jorge Albuquerque and the innovative drums of Scott Hay, a night with Australia's own Bossa Nova composer, vocalist, and guitarist will be sure to take you somewhere else.
