We're saluting the maestro of colour, camp and commotion, Pedro Almodóvar, with a retrospective of 21 of his feature films. Screening in chronological order of release, Almodóvar’s genre-defying films explore sex, desire, identity, politics, family, and a broad spectrum of gender expression via screwy comedy and high melodrama.
Presented in association with the Spanish Embassy of Australia and the Spanish Cultural Institute.
The Almodóvar retrospective screens on Friday nights at Classic Cinemas and Saturday nights at Lido Cinemas.
