The Story
The Boxcar Children are back in this new animation based on the second book in the classic series. The Alden kids have settled in with their eccentric grandfather and, when he suggests that they spend the summer on an island, they jump at the idea! Upon arriving, they decide to use their imaginations to transform an abandoned barn into a place that feels just like home. Each day they tend to the garden garden, play in the water, and generally enjoy a relaxing summer until they discover that Joe, the island handyman, is keeping a secret. With surprises around every corner the Aldens must stay on their toes, in this exciting follow-up about family and acceptance.
